Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY You must give at least 48 hours’ notice to your instructor if you wish to cancel or re-arrange a booked driving lesson. Failure to do so may result in your instructor charging you the full amount for that driving lesson. Your instructor reserves the right to fully charge a customer for any lesson where the customer fails to turn up and declare the lesson as “not turned up” whereas reasonable attempts in contact have been made by the instructor such as, text and phone calls, over a reasonable wait time such as 15-20 minutes past the lesson start time. Your instructor reserves the right to cancel any lesson should your instructor suspect or be led to believe the learner is under the influence of drugs (medicinal or recreational) or alcohol, or has failed to prepare themselves to lawfully and responsibly take control of a vehicle on the public road that could lead to compromised safety of the vehicle, learner, instructor, or any one else, at any point during the lesson which may result in a full lesson charge to the learner. From time to time, your instructor may need to cancel your lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, in these limited occasions your pre-paid funds will roll over to any further booked lesson with no further charge to the learner. YOUR PAYMENTS Your funds (including any paid on your behalf) will be held on trust for you in a designated Bank Account (which shall be such bank account in the UK), keeping them separate from the trading assets and liabilities of the driving school; Your funds held in the Client Account will only be used to pay your instructor on a lesson by lesson basis once each lesson has been delivered to you or where a charge is payable by you to your instructor because you have failed to provide the relevant notice of cancellation or non-attendance required under the terms of the Cancellation Policy below; Payment from your funds to the instructor for lessons delivered will only be made in circumstances where you have not raised a dispute with the driving school within 72 hours of the delivered lesson; Payments must be cleared 1 week in advance of the scheduled lesson, unless otherwise agreed with your driving instructor.
